Peter Wicks – Actor
Ahoy-hoy, fellow traveller.
Peter is a formerly young, British man who does acting. He does speaking, he does moving. Sometimes simultaneously.

Here's what he's doing now, what he's done previously, and what he looks like.

For YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT

“Eva Sampson . . . Helen Booth and Peter Wicks become the voice of the apartment and sing and dance their way through the story . . . They perform with a tongue-in-cheek humour and immense energy.”
★★★★ British Theatre Guide

“Eva Sampson’s production is not short on invention – bright and colourful and big of heart, a kind of live action cartoon. The energy of the company is endearing and the aesthetic incredibly well-realised.”

Upcoming

What’s going on? Where am I? What am I doing? Don’t panic, stalker. Here’s the latest.

“SISTERS” at the Rose Theatre Kingston, 15-28 July 2013

Following a month of manic pipe waving and shooting dogs on Dartmoor, I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be messing around with Lifelike Theatre for their next show, SISTERS.

It plays at the (utterly dazzling) Rose Theatre Kingston later this month as part of the (bloody wonderful) International Youth Arts Festival. A sterling cast of fresh faces and seasoned marvels in a crackling new take on Chekhov.

Do take time to peruse the IYAF website. It’s a brilliant showcase for new creatives, very close to my heart, and there’s always a good deal of astonishing things to see.

That face you’re pulling is your “I’m sold” face, and it is very fetching. Here are the details:

SISTERS

a new play by BEN CLARE

Click here to watch the SISTERS teaser trailer

In a big house on a remote island, three sisters bitch, laugh and dream of a new life. Then the army comes back to town, passions are reignited, jealousies stirred, and their world is changed forever.

A funny, heartfelt family drama inspired by Chekhov’s Three Sisters.

Lifelike Theatre produces new writing by playwrights including Royal Court Writers Programme graduate Ben Clare, telling great stories about now… a little bit like life really.

Cast Sophie Cook, James Furlong, David Howard, Grace Line, Naomi Marsden, Dan Martin, Hannah Platts, James Price, Sue Viney, Peter Wicks

Dates Mon 15 July at 8pm, Thu 18 July at 3pm, Sun 21 July at 8pm & Sun 28 July at 3.30pm
